About us

In Sept 2006, just after the harvest, the founder of Montpeyroux & Co, Patrick deMontpeyroux visited the family vineyards in the south of France with an exciting proposition- create a truly “fun”, fashionable wine specifically targeted to the young wine consumer. With his family’s rich traditions in winemaking, such a wine would have to satisfy the tastes of the most respected sommeliers and make a style statement that would resonate with young consumers and become the centerpiece of their social scene. Patrick knew there was only one lifestylebrand that had the undivided attention of young consumers- Christian Audigier, mastermind and head designer of the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier brands.
With a celebrity following that is the dream of any brand, a cult of customer that is fanatical about the products and a designer with “rock star” status and impeccable pedigree, Christian Audigier was the perfect fit. In January 2007,based in Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, CA. Montpeyroux & Co and Christian Audigier joined forces to create a wine brand for a new generation of winedrinkers, Christian Audigier by Montpeyroux Estates, “Le Vin Cool.” (The CoolWine)Christian Audigier by Montpeyroux Estates, has captured the attention of the young consumers around the world with its delicious, fruit-forward, easy-to-drinkwine, “dressed” in innovative packaging: shrink-wrapped, screw-cap bottles exploding with the wild, daring, colorful tattoo imagery that has made Christian Audigier a household name.
